certain events, yes. i mean you can tell when summer and winter will be, when your birthday will be, what day of the week it will be, simple stuff like that.

other events, it's all speculation. did anyone know for sure without any reservations that there was going to be a stock market crash in 2008? people may have warned us about it, but was it a sure thing? not really. climate change? same thing. there's lots of conflicting reports out there and no one can really tell for sure.
