I say yes. I'm right, you are wrong.

Maybe not the political beliefs themselves, but the reason why someone chose them, or how deep is the knowledge.

low-information voters make up both parties, they're not necessarily bad people.

pretty sure people voted for donald trump because he said he'd make america great again, even though he had no clear plan on how to do that.

I'm trying to think of a way that it wouldn't say something about a person's character. Beliefs in general tend to say something about the person's character. That's not an inherently bad thing

I think "political beliefs" may influence to a great degree which party I person votes for, but which party a person votes for dopes not invairiably mean that they share the same political dotrine of that party.

It may be someone's core belief that a government should be responsible for building a fairier society for all but at the same time they may feel that there is no political movement that could achieve that in practice.

Your political belief is your idea of how government should be run in order to benefit all its citizens. Whether you lie, cheat, steal, etc. to achieve that government ideal speaks to your character.

Why do you assume that. I would say that it speaks more for your character if your idea of how government should be run is to provide the most benefit to yourself and people like yourself regardless to the interests of the rest of society.
