Ice just melts and waters down your drink.

I rarely put ice in my drinks.
I like to drink my water out of a pitcher kept in the refrigerator, but that's plenty cold enough.
I'll use ice on occasion if it's boiling hot out or if I'm super hungover and rehydrating feels better somehow with colder drinks.

One or two cubes, max, if I get a choice to individually put it in.

I usually do have ice. But I drink fast so it rarely gets watered down. Also if someone else is serving you, they put way too much ice in so you have very little drink to start with. This is a trick they do to save money, I guess.

I'm always using ice unless it's something like milk or OJ. If the restaurant has fresh squeezed OJ though, it's often not very cold so I use ice then. But yeah, I like to use ice. Even if the drink is already cold. That's when I prefer to use the ice, anyway. Otherwise it melts too fast. And I love chewing up my ice.

I love having ice in my drinks (not milk, most juices, or beer/wine).
I don't chew it though, because it's bad for your teeth. Also, ever since I worked with a lady who was diagnosed anemic, I'm curious how many people just have ice chewing as a habit, and how many should get their iron levels checked! That was like her main symptom. She mentioned it as a habit to her dentist, who suggested she get her iron checked. Otherwise who knows how long she would've continued being untreated.

A tangent but the most satisfying cup of water to drink is one where the ice has just all melted and the cup is covered in condensation. Somehow it's better than ice water or even fridge water.

I greatly prefer to only drink cold water, and will use ice if I don't have access to water that is already chilled.

No. Ice doesn’t go well with tea or beer.

When the weather is really hot, I'll put ice in cold water. But not in fizzy drinks because I take my sweet time with eating/drinking and I hate it being watered down.
