I don't think so, I never found Itchy and Scratchy that funny. I was a big Tom and Jerry fan when I was younger though.

for cheap laughs it's a good thing. the fact that it's a show within a show makes it a bit funnier than it should be.

The perception I got was the we, the secondary viewers, only got like, a glimpse. Or one of many ultra shorts, in a show that also had longer features.
