A: Your significant other goes all out in wooing and romancing you with candlelight dinners, flowers, and such. But outside of that s/he can be very infuriating because of forgetfulness, laziness, etc.

B: Your significant other is not much of a romantic, but is very attentive to you and makes little gestures that show s/he's listening and cares. Many would take these little gestures for granted. I'm talking little things like buying you your favorite candy bar, or taking your car and filling it up with gas, or just calling to ask if you need anything while s/he's out and about.

Personally, I find option B most romantic! Question Who's Online | Find Members | Private Messages

I've never been very fond of candlelit dinners and flowers. Flowers are expensive and die fast. Candles don't provide adequate light.

FSS B FTW IMO

Are you asking me, or the person you quoted? I'll answer anyway. Dove dark chocolate.

B sounds like me.

I'd be agitated if he went out of his way to WASTE MONEY on flowers. You know how expensive a dozen roses are? Geez!

B.

DUH.

Neither would 'turn me on'
But B is preferrable
10 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Thursday 10/21/10 - 4:53:46 AM EST (GMT-5)
A definitely

Why would I want my SO doing chores for me. I don't get hard at the thought of having a butler, so why would reducing my SO to one be romantic?
10 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Thursday 10/21/10 - 6:48:21 AM EST (GMT-5)
B sound better to me.

I am not a flowers and candle lit dinner type of person.
10 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Thursday 10/21/10 - 12:01:17 PM EST (GMT-5)
This question seems loaded for B.
10 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Thursday 10/21/10 - 1:55:50 PM EST (GMT-5)
B is better. Romantic dinners and the like make me really uncomfortable anyway, and forgetfulness/laziness can be terribly annoying.
It's kind of obvious that pretty much anyone would choose B.
10 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Thursday 10/21/10 - 2:30:49 PM EST (GMT-5)
so this question should read, "would you rather your SO try to charm you into bed when they get the motivation, or would you rather have an SO that cares about you?"

pfffffff b
10 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Thursday 10/21/10 - 4:30:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
I will admit that I do also like to go out for a nice dinner, and it's nice to get flowers once in a while, but a single rose or carnation is fine with me. I don't need a big bouquet. But as I said, I find the sweet little gestures more romantic.

B, my ex was exactly like A and it drove me crazy
10 yrs ago - Thursday 1/6/11 - 6:14:21 PM EST (GMT-5)
My boyfriend is more like B but damn, I'd like some A every once in a while
10 yrs ago - Friday 1/7/11 - 1:17:47 AM EST (GMT-5)
I wouldn't mind the occasional dinner rwith flowers and candles, mind you, but 'b' for the long run.
10 yrs ago - Friday 1/7/11 - 1:40:48 AM EST (GMT-5)
I'm not a big fan of being wooed with candlelit dinners and whatnot anyway. Though it is nice, I would prefer someone who is nice all the time and not just when they feel romantic.
9 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Thursday 3/17/11 - 4:13:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
B for the win.
