Not if I'm qualified to do it. The experience will come with the job.

If I'm qualified, no.
...but what high paying job is there that experience isn't considered a qualification?

"high paying" is relative...

Yes. One time, many years ago, I was hired as a manager of a research lab and I quit the next day because I felt like a complete fraud.
I might be able to handle it now, but back then, I felt like a child given way too much responsibility and it freaked me out.

If Im qualified for the job, why would that make me feel like a fraud?
Maybe if my lack of experience caused me to be horrible at whatever job it was, but then, if I was horrible at the job, I wouldnt be qualified for it in the first place...

I've never been in that situation, but I can't see why it would be fraudulent in any way.
When I got my first job as a programmer, I had lots of experience* but no formal qualifications. I still made $16 000 a month, and not even that made me feel I was "fake" in any way: I delivered the wares, and they were willing to pay. Everybody were happy
*from sitting at home, cooking up games & other weird programs on my Amiga...

How can you be qualified for a job without having the required qualifications?
Do you mean like I have a Masters in Mathematics and have little teaching experience, so I might feel like a fraud for accepting a position as a teacher?

No, I'd feel loaded. If I had lied on my CV and said I had experience that I didn't, it would be different.

No, everyone starts somewhere. It's just stupidity on the behalf of the employee to pay more than I'm worth.

Sometimes I feel like a fraud in every day life. Like, how does the government let me drive a two ton weapon down the road at high speeds? Seriously? Am I really qualified to do this?

maybe if i didn't do my job correctly, but if they're willing to pay that high, i don't see who wouldn't take it.
