I have to jot it down. If I try to remember it, chances are, I won't. But if I write it down somewhere, even if I then throw that piece of paper away, I will remember. Not sure why.

I'm like this too. I've got a great memory as long as I have it written down somewhere. I think it's because the act of writing forces you to focus on and repeat the notion, as well as creating a visual memory for your mind to pull from.

If it's something very important, I'll write it in my favorite notebook or I'll write it on my hand. If it's very lenghthy, I write it in my notebook. If it's anything else, I'll just take my chances with remembering it.

Depends on what it is. Stuff for school- I write down. Random knowledge I usually just try to keep in my head. I usually fail at that.

I'm pretty good at randomly bringing up past information. I'm awesome with dated pop culture references.

I usually have to write it down, just because I have so much on my mind most of the time.

I have a pretty good memory when it comes to remembering specific terms and what they mean, so I usually just read it back to myself a few times and can recall it later.
If I have to memorize a lot of things at once, though, I'll write them down.

I have a really good memory when it comes to information and finding my way around places, but I tend to lose track of things in my styhole.

I make a note of things either on my computer on a notepad or else on a piece of paper. I am so stressed 95% of the time and that leaves me scatter brained a lot so having things written down helps me be a little less stressed.
