I'm okay with vaccines. Not newer ones though, until I know any side-effects. |

Not exactly distrustful but wary. |

I trust medical professionals and the peer review process. |

Vaccines are anti-Darwinist. |

Not especially. I mean, I understand that there's a chance they will predict the wrong flu strain when making the vaccine, but I don't think that's a matter of trust, really. |

No, actually Wallace was anti-vaccination, not Darwin.

One of my favourite quotes by an anti-vaccine *medical professional* - "I treat more side-effects of vaccines than the diseases they try to prevent".
And next on the evening news: doctor claims he treats more Kevlar bruises than gunshot wounds. Police officers opt not to wear bullet proof vests.
Wankers. |

Yes, the aluminum and mercury content (although mercury has supposedly been phased out, there is no regulation to ensure this is true) is of great concern to me. Several recent laboratory studies have found links between the aluminum hydroxide in vaccines and neurological disorders: link and the amount of aluminum present in vaccines greatly exceeds safety standards for Al set by the FDA: link. Apparently, this is allowable because vaccines are injected into the muscle, rather than directly into the blood stream. |

I had a tetanus shot once that floored me for three days. I also heard stories about the anthrax vacinne US troops were forced to take in Gulf war 1 and 2 and now many are having side effects. Anything rushed onto market like h1n1 vaccine is problematic to take at best, to me. |
