All the time. Every time I'm reading a history or biography and someone important dies, or some huge battle is lost, and so on, I wonder that.
I'd like to see all the parallel universes where these things happen differently. |

I don't wonder it often, but once when I couldn't sleep I wrote an essay on how the world could have been different if the Gauls had defeated the Romans, rather then the other way around... |

Uhm but yeah, I have many times.
What if portuguese hadn't "discovered" the world? There would be no brazilians!
And angola would maybe still have all their gold. And moçambique wouldn't speak portuguese!
And what if the portuguese hadn't produced port whine??
England wouldn't help us out so much with their imppoortations!
What if jesus hadn't died? What if cameras existed in his time??
Would everyone be catholic??
What if it was filmed, Jesus healing people? Would everyone freak out, or just believe in witches or superwpowers even more thant they already do?
What if in india women had more rights??

Trouble with this is that there's a scientific theory called the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics that allows for all possibilities of everything having happened, thus creating an infinite number of parallel universes. What I'm trying to say is this: don't think about it because it did (or didn't) happen in a parallel universe and you should let them worry about it (or not) |
