That would depend on the severity of the sexual crime. There's a huge difference between consensual sex between an 18 and 16 year old, and child molestation, but both could be considered sex crimes.
Child molesters should be killed. |

My first reaction would be for castration. But as horrible as sex crimes against children are I don't see it as a civilized way to handle it.
Just send them to prison. Child molestation is seen especially taboo in prisons, a lot of times child molesters are tartgeted and killed. |

See, my thing is that my ex is in prison for child porn charges. But just because no molestation charges have been brought against him doesn't mean he didn't do it. He just may not have been caught. And if and when he gets out, he may not only commit the crime again, he may do worse to another child. And what if he meets some woman and knocks her up? What would he do to his own child? I say he should get fixed so he doesn't father a child. BTW, this is one issue that the Catholic Church and I disagree on (See? I knew I could find one!). They teach that it is wrong to deliberately hinder the ability to give life. But since he really won't be allowed around children, even his own, then to obey that law, I say it should be allowed. At least if it were mandated by law, they'd have to accept it because the Church also teaches that we must obey the laws set for us. |

I think that in the case of undeniable evidence, they should be fixed
Same rules should apply as with capital punishment |

No, of course not!
How else are we going to recruit Catholic priests? |

No. That sounds like cruel and unusual punishment to me. |

I've heard that would only change the way they prey on people, not stop them from doing it...But I don't know. I'd say fix them anyway, with a slightly insufficient amount of anesthetic, just so they can get a taste of the hell they put their victims through. |

Yeah, because obviously child molesters are on a WHOLE 'NOTHER LEVEL OF EVIL from regular ol' rapists. |

Yeah, but at least they wouldn't father or mother a child of their own and do it to THEM. I can't think of anything worse than doing something like that to your own child.
