Possibly, after I had nursed my children.

I'd only get a mastectomy after they were sure it was the only possible thing they could do

Wouldn't you actually need to have cancer for that though? I'm assuming the question is more about doing it as a preventive measure.

Personally, I'd monitor closely and wait until the cancer developed to undergo surgery. Mutations to BRCA1 & 2 increase your chances of breast cancer (among many, many other types of cancer) but do not guarantee that you will get it. Further, prophylactic surgery often does not remove all the at risk tissue and cancer can still spread to other tissues. It doesn't seem like the wisest option.

Seems it would really suck to have mutations in two tumor suppressor genes though. I bet your health care ditches you if you so much as sneeze.

I don't think so. I would probably just monitor my breast health very closely.

Definitely not.

I'm keeping my bewbs.

I'd get one for the fun of it! Yay for having a manchest!

I'd just try and fight it.

I think if I were to test positive I would closely monitor my health, and go get regular screenings and proper testing.
