Everyone has a personality - so I would say no.

It would be the characteristics of the personality that prove self-conciousness.

What does this question mean? Because I don't see how personality could possibly prove self consciousness. Am I missing something? Um, It's a personality trait?

I'm with the other two above me. What is this question about?

The definition of self-consciousness is that you are overly aware of your own presence whilst with others and you either feel overwhelmed, embarrassed or adjust your behaviour to suit the situation. Personality proves absolutely nothing in this instance.

I can't say, what exactly are you asking?

I can't make heads or tails or this paradox.

I think it does, but I find the whole idea too ambiguous to really put a finger on. It all relates to the difference between personality and character (I believe there is one; character is your innate being, sort of like a soul but not quite, and personality is your superficial, external tendencies and is therefore changeable) and also between self-consciousness and self-awareness (the former presumably being a bad thing and the latter a good one, as it refers to acknowledgement and awareness of beng an individual in, yet also part of, the world). Superficial traits do suggest a superficial consciousness of the external environment.
