I'd say one who knows the judge but you never know how much money it would take to bribe one.

It's cheaper to get one who knows the law but it'll get better results to get one who knows the judge.

Who knows the law. Most attorneys know the judges even in a decent sized city. What comes in handy is if YOU know the judge and you have to go before him/her.

I think a judge who passes a biased verdict based on knowing someone has already flunked the impartiality test.

I don't know about cheaper, but it is certainly more effective to get a lawyer that knows the judge.

Sometimes it's better to have a lawyer who is in good with judges
