It depends on what the work is, but I have no problems working with either.

I've only ever worked with all women, and maybe a couple guys thrown in, so I can't say for sure, but it's definitely not catty like some people say. Of course, I work in a drugstore, so it's not like there's any competition.

I've been working in 100% female working environments and I'd rather stay unemployed than try it again. Ideal situation seem to be mixed environments, anyway.

i am in full support of women. only because they seem to get the work done more. true there are TONS of "catty" issues however, that has been my experience

From my experience, I prefer if it's all my sex or if I am the one token other sex although I don't know that it really matters afai productivity as long as you are professionals.

As long as they aren't backstabbing whores, I don't care the gender.

At my job, it doesn't matter. On a whole, I like working with women because they are more talkative and I am very chatty. Well, the guys are talkative, but they are sat talking about stupid things like video games and Spiderman 3 all day.

Women in groups are too catty. It's obnoxious. Right now I work with one girl, just me and her. It goes just fine.

I worked with two girls on a project. They fought. It was annoying. We were supposed to make a magazine kind of thing. They were so clueless... I'm not saying all women are like that, but goodness gracious. I never want to partner work again.

Men kind of disgust me sometimes. I don't like being around lots of them at once, so I'd prefer a group of all women.

Hmmm, I have to think about this one. At my job sometimes I work with all women, and sometimes I'm the only girl there. It goes pretty smoothly with both.
