*takes out dictionary and searches for definition of 'innate'* sometimes, but not always. it can be gained.

Not when the bravery is directed toward helping another human being. I think self-preservation is innate, though, and that people would be willing to do things one might consider "brave" in order to help themselves.

When faced with critical situations, I tend to freeze. I think it comes from not being a mother.

Hard to say. There are some people who just leap into action when faced with danger...while others instantly flee or simply freeze up. My mom freezes up. My dad reacts quickly to situations and does what needs to be done. I do the same, I don't think, I just do what I have to. Not always a good thing...it's like the need for self-preservation isn't quite as strong for people like that.

do i think bravery is enherited basically...... no, i do not...i believe that bravery is determinded by the opinions that the person feels...if you feel strongly enough for something then you will stand up and fight for it...it has nothing to do with inherited genes...

No, I think fear is far more innate than bravery.

I think it's sort of innate. The bravery from the old days were just plain stupidity. "Hey, we can kill them" Now I don't know the current defenition of bravery...

people are born either brave or braver. There is no cowardice.
