Embarassment, by far. I avoid it as much as I can.

Embarrassment, unless the physical pain is severe.

Embarassment. :) I can deal with the pain, just not the feeling of all eyes on me.

For me physical pain hurts more cause I don't have a high tolerance for it, but pain from embarassment definately last longer.

i can say that i would rather hurt my self physically cuz that pain will go away and the injury will go away within a short amount of time as opposed to embarassment that can follow you for a LONG time.

Embarassment.. I don't care much about pain anymore because it doesn't stick with you for so long.

What about physical pain inflicted in an embarassing way? Best of both worlds... I think physical pain is less severe, and usually much quicker to recede.

I have no shame, so I rarely get embarrassed. When I do though it hurts a lot more than removing my balls with a spork would.

Depends on the degree of pain you're talking about, but in general the mental discomfort of embarrassment bothers me more. I feel embarrassment for others too. Like for all of you that spelled embarrassment wrong just because that was how it was spelled in the question. I'm just empathetic like that.

yea id say physical pain. i know it sounds corny but when something embarrassing happens, i always think "so what, life goes on" i guess it would also depend on different levels of pain/embarrassment but generally id say physical pain

Physical. Someone walked in on me in the bathroom. I'm over it. Been over it the minute after it happened. I fell on my arm skateboarding. It has yet to heal, and hurts like a mother. However, if the person was someone I knew, it probably would not have been as easy...hmm....

Embarrassment for me. Because with physical pain once its over its over, but with something embarrassing you always look back on it and cringe and hope no one else remembers.
