Yeah, Passion of the Christ. I'm not christian or anything, but watching Jesus get beaten for a couple of hours made me feel VERY uncomfortable.

13 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Saturday 8/26/06 - 11:53:30 PM EST (GMT-5)
Tons of movies made me uncomfortable to watch with other people... anything with sex scenes or heavy swearing.

But, there's never been anything that made me uncomfortable to watch alone.

Yes, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, for one.

Not by myself, but like ArcticRose I do feel uncomfortable watching sex scenes with other people.

Yeah, that scene in Monster where that guy was tourturing her. Awful. I don't ever want to see that kind of thing again.

Watching any sex scenes with my parents; and watching that scene on American History X where the guy was biting the curb and someone kicked him in the back of the head.

Baise Moi. It's a french film with extremely graphic rape scenes in. I tried to watch it but I had to turn it off because it was so horrific. For those who have seen Monster, think even worse.
13 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Tuesday 9/5/06 - 2:50:57 PM EST (GMT-5)
Many, and I don't want to relive them by naming them here.

"Closer" with my family. Though I must say that, beside from the explicit and vivid llanguage choices, the movie was very dry and did nothing for me but make me squirm a little bit while in mixed company.
13 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Monday 10/2/06 - 8:59:42 PM EST (GMT-5)
"The Night Porter" is probably the most difficult film I ever watched because it has a shocking premise. I would imagine A LOT of Jewish people were outraged when that film was released.

13 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Wednesday 10/4/06 - 12:13:33 PM EST (GMT-5)
Hard Candy, Peeping Tom and The Wicker Man come to mind. Not easy films to watch at all.

Saying that, the remake of The Wicker Man was very difficult to watch, but for rather different reasons..
