Yes. Green tomato, red tomato. Different. Yet equal (depending on who you ask )

The question is way too ambiguous to give a definite answer. In a literal sense, no, different is never equal. 2 will never equal 3.

I think it really depends on what it is, but different isn't supposed to be equal.

Yeah, this question pretty much doesn't work. I guess I'm not a fan of purposefully ambiguous questions, because if you look at the results, you have no idea how the people interpreted it.

No, different can never be equal. It is not possible for something to be different and equal. Imagine two houses, same layout, different cities. They are not going to be equal, one will be in a better spot in one city, or one city will have less crime, or more sun, or more rain for the garden, or more young people who are hip, or more drunk college students.

Yes, all of my children are different and I love them the same. I like/dislike something about each of them, and still love them for their individuality.

It depends on how you're reading the word "equal". It doesn't necessarily have to be the exact same thing, only equal in a certain respect. 2 and 3 are different values, but both of them are numbers. The houses might have different aspects, but they're both still houses. That's pretty much how I took it.

for sure. 2+2=4 "2+2" is very different from "4". size, shape, pronunciation, all different. but no one (alright, maybe big brother) is going to argue that 2 + 2 doesnt equal 4

yes, but since you're talking about things humans provide for different groups (i'm assuming) like bathrooms and such, can be equal but require almost constant attenttion to keep it so......it's almost imnpossible for humans to seperate things and keep them equal

Most likely yes, but it really depends.
