I think most people in genral are feminists, whether they choose to classify themselves as such or not. So, the obvious answer is yes.

Yeah, gay men usually have no reason to believe in macho gender roles or inequality towards women. If anything gay men usually sympathize a lot with women because they are abused by a macho society, and women are usually very sympathetic to gay guys.

Some not all. Some gay men are "macho gay men." But everyone should be a feminist! We are the better, stronger, more intelligent and socially conscious of others. Any man who admits that their female counter parts are better than them (and beautiful!) are real men.

Is the question that gay men are feminists, or effeminate? In my experience, gay men can be both or neither.

I don't think it's for sure, but often yes.

Feminism in a nutshell involves the belief in equal rights for all regardless of sex, color, etc etc. It's not about one being better than the other.

Unfortunately, the nature of oppressed groups of people is that they tighten their ranks and rather than network with other groups of oppressed people, they practically treat each other like competition.

Not all gay men are feminists. I, myself, can say I am a feminist and do fight for womens rights every once in a while.

Probably, but really most men (at least most men I know) are feminists, even if they don't use the term. It seems that gay men are more likely to use the term 'feminist' to describe themselves, though.

I have no idea at all....maybe they are not. Most gay men are very masculine and handsome and it just happens that they like same sex.

No. A homosexual man is still a man. Not all homosexual men are flitty flaming stereotypes.

I hate being called feminist, but by the definition of the term, I am. I just think it's wrong that something that's supposed to mean equality between the sexes is called "feminism."
