I gotta say I love history, so probably an antique store, but only if it has the sort of stuff I'm into (i.e old rifles, helmets, and uniforms, not antique chairs and stuff)
otherwise I'd go for a flea market

Flea market. Sometimes you can actually find a vendor selling antiques there. But I've found some pretty cool things at a flea market. Why is it called a "flea" market, anyway. I never see fleas there. In South Bend, there was what they called the "Thieves" market. Yet you couldn't just go there and walk out with something and not pay for it!

I'd vote for the flea market. Part of the joys of shopping for that sort of thing, is uncovering a cheap, hidden gem. Antique shops tend to add big mark ups to their stuff.

antique stores, because of that wonderful old musty smell. It's my favorite.
