No, I don't.
I do, though, after I get it done at the dentist's office.

Why are you supposed to wait 30 minutes?
15 yrs ago - Friday 9/30/05 - 3:57:28 PM EST (GMT-5)
You're supposed to wait 30 minutes after brushing your teeth because even water can strip the enamelk off of your teeth, making them suceptible to cavities and such.
15 yrs ago - Friday 9/30/05 - 3:58:40 PM EST (GMT-5)
Enamel and susceptible, even.
15 yrs ago - Saturday 10/1/05 - 11:21:24 AM EST (GMT-5)
Hmm.. maybe I should start doing that, but that would mean getting up a lot earlier.
15 yrs ago - Saturday 10/1/05 - 11:27:07 AM EST (GMT-5)
No, I dont think I have ever done that
15 yrs ago - Saturday 10/1/05 - 11:27:08 AM EST (GMT-5)
i brush my teeth after eating, not that i have breakfast regularly anyway, so i have food/drink about 6 hours after (on a school day) and at night i have a whole night before i eat anything next.

whitening toothpaste strips the enamel off so if you brush with that and wait, thats not gonna help.

This is the first I ever heard of that.
15 yrs ago - Saturday 10/1/05 - 12:03:13 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, but I usually eat first, then brush
15 yrs ago - Sunday 10/2/05 - 4:38:36 PM EST (GMT-5)
I always do, but not because it's recommended. I just hate the taste of anything besides water in my mouth right after brushing my teeth.
Food doesn't taste the same right after I've brushed, and I hate to ruin the clean feeling.

I'm pretty sure you made that up actually. You're not supposed to eat or drink after fluoride treatments for 30 minutes, and studies have found it's better to wait at least 30 minutes before brushing your teeth after eating, not vice versa as your question is phrased. So, until you produce a link from a reputable source, I'm calling bullsh*t on this one.
14 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Thursday 11/10/05 - 1:00:31 PM EST (GMT-5)
Yes, but I never knew that it was recommended.
14 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Thursday 11/10/05 - 1:35:56 PM EST (GMT-5)
Usually, only because everything tastes like crap just after brushing your teeth.
14 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Thursday 11/10/05 - 2:04:37 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not intentionally...I just like to enjoy the clean feeling as long as possible. And it makes food taste gross.
14 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Saturday 11/12/05 - 4:15:24 AM EST (GMT-5)
What?
