terrorists can be stopped mother nature can't be.
Wednesday 9/7/05 - 2:19:28 PM
Mother nature...
Wednesday 9/7/05 - 5:39:16 PM
If we keep the pollution happening and keep cutting down all the trees, Mother Nature is going to nail us all.
Wednesday 9/7/05 - 6:10:28 PM
Neither, really. I'll be dead before nature gets too out of hand, and I live in an area that doesn't see much extreme weather. As for terrorists, I'm not getting my panties in a twist about something that may never happen again. I'll worry when the time comes.
Wednesday 9/7/05 - 7:05:19 PM
Mother Nature. She's more likely to kick something up to affect me than terrorists.
Thursday 9/8/05 - 11:08:44 AM
I'm not sure, but I'd guess mother nature kills far more per year than terrorists do.
Thursday 9/8/05 - 11:10:26 AM
Mother nature. Natural disasters can not be prevented.

Exactly.
Thursday 9/8/05 - 11:12:50 AM
Or just mother.
Thursday 9/8/05 - 12:23:34 PM
Terrorists....Ireland is pretty much exempt from hurricanes, volcanos and earthquakes.
Thursday 9/8/05 - 12:57:03 PM
Well, Nature, if only because being blown up by a rare form of squid is infinately more embarassing than being blown up by someone who hates me and everything I stand for. I almost sound Republican in that last sentance. Must be getting old.
Thursday 9/8/05 - 1:00:10 PM
It's not polite to fool with Mother Nature.

Global warming and rising oceans can still nail you.

Terrorists, Mother Nature does not seek to harm. Plus we can see Mother Nature coming a lot easier. There is no "Terrorist season" or "Terrorologists" or "the Terror Channel" to tip us off as to the next attack.

Indeed.

The thought of global warming and such creeps me out.

Friday 9/9/05 - 3:09:28 AM
Mother nature can't be stopped
Friday 9/9/05 - 3:18:05 AM
MY mother.
Friday 9/9/05 - 9:55:09 AM
Mother nature can be far more devastating, and you can't keep it from happening.
Friday 9/9/05 - 10:46:24 AM
nature can be much more destructive and is sometimes hard to predict
Friday 9/9/05 - 11:30:57 AM
I guess terrorism because the only mother nature to hit me is a meteor hitting my area.
Friday 9/9/05 - 4:10:26 PM
Mother nature can be alot more cruel than terrorists...At least we can kill them.....
Friday 9/9/05 - 4:24:21 PM
Mother Nature can be tamed, stopped, or prepared for. Terrorism, on the other hand, can not be stopped or prepared for. Besides, dying in a natural disaster would not be near as bad as being killed by terrorists, methinks.

Please enlighten me as to how you would "stop" a tornado, because I am deathly afraid of them, and I would like to take it on if I can stop it from destroying me and my home...??? That is silly...

Terrorism can be intercepted...but I won't get into that discussion here - too tired today...

There were three choices. Taming or stopping tornadoes may be impossible, but you can still prepare for them.
Friday 9/9/05 - 5:40:41 PM
I know there were choices, but I was just wondering how to "stop" them...that would be cool if you could...
