It's horrible. Nobody wants to be Mary and Carrie for the rest of their lives. It's bad enough that both my brother and I have names that start with the same letter, and we're not even twins.

Only to the parent.

No if I had twins I probably wouldn't even have their names start with the same letter.
15 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Friday 6/3/05 - 10:20:26 PM EST (GMT-5)
No. It's stupid and it's child abuse.
15 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Friday 6/3/05 - 10:37:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
no... lori and rori... not cool.
15 yrs ago, 6 mos ago - Saturday 6/4/05 - 4:31:35 AM EST (GMT-5)
Nope, it's annoying as all hell!
15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Tuesday 6/7/05 - 2:39:50 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, it's corny. Stupid people.
15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Tuesday 6/7/05 - 2:59:40 PM EST (GMT-5)
I guess, but if they grow to have a speech impediment it can be frustrating. I knew these twins(one who was a troublemaker--couldn't tell which one) They were Skyler and Tyler. They couldn't do their S's right, so both sounded like they were named Tyler.---it was annoying
15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Friday 6/10/05 - 1:21:28 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, it's cruel and unusual punishment and the parents should be shot.
15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Friday 6/10/05 - 1:28:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
I used to think it was cute, but not now. Its kinda dumb.
15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Friday 6/10/05 - 1:29:55 PM EST (GMT-5)
I think any siblings with rhyming names gets confusing when asking for one of them on the phone, or yelling for one of 'em from another room.
15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Friday 6/10/05 - 1:31:01 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not at all.
15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Friday 6/10/05 - 1:31:04 PM EST (GMT-5)

15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Friday 6/10/05 - 1:33:45 PM EST (GMT-5)
Is her name Kerosene?
15 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Friday 7/1/05 - 12:45:58 PM EST (GMT-5)
Maybe before they turn one, but after that it would be smart to change their names or something...
15 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Friday 7/8/05 - 12:53:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
No, it rather annoys me actually. Just like when all siblings names have the same first letter, like John, Jane and Jimmy Jurgensen. Stupid, and quite cruel to the kids.
15 yrs ago, 4 mos ago - Friday 7/8/05 - 12:55:59 PM EST (GMT-5)
Parents who do this and who dress their kids in identical clothing where the only difference is the colour should be shot.

My teacher said she had that problem. All D's, except her mother. She goes by her middle name, Yvonne.
