Floppy. Cd's you can use only once. And the reinscriptible ones are too expensive.

Are there still people using floppy discs? Those can't even contain a regular mp3!

I like floppys because you can save a lot of word documents on them, like essays and stuff for school. CD's you can only use once, unless you buy the RW's which, like abzurd said, are expensive.

I generally prefer the USB plug-in drives. They hold more than a floppy, are portable and are rewritable...

A floppy disk...that's all I've ever used.

CD, I don't even have a floppy drive. "I like floppys because you can save a lot of word documents on them, like essays and stuff for school." Uhm, you can also do that with CDs... "CD's you can only use once, unless you buy the RW's which, like abzurd said, are expensive." Or if you have the right program, with mine I can re-use regular CD-Rs.

I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5. It gives you the option to "finalize" the cd or not. If you don't finalize it, you can go back and change things.

Haven't seen a floppy in years. My latest computers haven't had floppy drives. Besides, 1.44MB can't be used for much these days, except for storing various Office documents.

Yes but once you've burned one essay to a cd, you can't add any more.......unless I'm totally stupid. I mean, you could type a whole bunch of essays, save them to your computer and then burn the whole lot to CD..but I'm talking about one at a time, as you go along.

I use both, but I'll use CD-RW's if it's for a picture or something.

Depends on what I'm saving. Music/mp3's go on CD's. The rest of the junk goes on Floppy.

If I'm gonna move something from one PC to another, I either send it electronically or store it on my mp3 player.

I didn't even know they still had floppy drives. New PC's don't have them do they?

Of course, I shold clarify...I save pictures and music/mp3's on CD's, for sure.. But for essays and school work and stuff, nothing beats a floppy disk. Very portable and convenient.

Don't use floppy disks at all anymore, it's either a CD or a flash memory stick now.
