The reason they come out to be true is mainly because they're so generic. I'm supposed to be a Scorpio, but I've read the horoscope for Leo, Pisces, Cancer, etc., and they all can apply to me if I twist them the right way.

I don't usually get the newspaper, but sometimes I'll randomly come across one on the internet. Then they're pretty much too broad, so they technically are true.

I've had very specific comments in my horoscope come true. Still, it's just a coincidence. For that one comment that was true for me, a hundred other sags that read it had nothing even remotely similar happen.

Yep - they're deliberately written so that something fitting that description *will* happen: "you need to get around to something you've been putting off for a while" - when *don't* you need to do something like that?! |
