Aren't the odor control ones really bad for you? Cause rashes and stuff?

Never use these things anyway. But yes, I bet they were designed by a male.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Tuesday 8/31/04 - 11:00:32 AM EST (GMT-5)
Or a female who was brainwashed to think that everything female smells foul and is disgusting.

I'm sure they are Sassy, they are probably scented.

People have different opinions i guess.... i dont find it insulting at all.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 2:49:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
i have never been stank enough to need these, i guess, and i suspect that most women never have been either. it is an excellent marketing ploy, however.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 2:52:37 PM EST (GMT-5)
The coochie doesn't normally smell bad. But is it really the same smell when on your period? I guess I've never got close enough to really be able to tell.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 3:47:37 PM EST (GMT-5)
If you wear cotton panties, air circulates. I'm sure you already know that.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 3:49:57 PM EST (GMT-5)

15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 3:50:53 PM EST (GMT-5)
Some women might have a condition which means it smells more. Doesn't really bother me.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 3:51:23 PM EST (GMT-5)
I dont find them insulting, personally. Of course I am a guy. I like to cover up my stench.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 4:10:45 PM EST (GMT-5)
Before the days of the invention of tampons and whatnot for women´s hygene one could obviously smell whether or not a woman was on her period. My mother swears she can still. So maybe this was just designed by someone with a very sensitive nose?
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 6:34:58 PM EST (GMT-5)
Well, i guess it's always nice to have the availability. But, though i cannot fairly express a female opinion, i would imagine the commercials to be offensive.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 6:38:10 PM EST (GMT-5)
I got close enough to tell and let me tell you something, it really wasn't that bad. I don't think they would be offensive, but they would always be nice to have just in case.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Wednesday 9/1/04 - 7:33:12 PM EST (GMT-5)
I am not offended by them. The commercials are kind of nasty to think about. I do not use them but if I felt that I needed to I am glad that they are out there.

I find cinema for adult viewingO insulting to females. Pantiliners are fine with me. I mean, isnt it the same concept as deoderant?? Plus, some women need those occasionally when it is very smelly.
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 9/4/04 - 6:55:01 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's not specifically designed to be used during any part of the period.

These are supposed to be used EVERY DAY! I can't imagine why any female would smell so horrible down there, if she does, she should see a doctor not go buy these stupid pads.

The commercial also claims every woman has it ("it" being a foul odour), and needs their pads.

If anyone, male or female, didn't stay clean I'm sure they will eventually smell bad, claiming women are so dirty they need to use special pads is downright offensive.

^^so do you find them offensive?

"If anyone, male or female, didn't stay clean I'm sure they will eventually smell bad, claiming women are so dirty they need to use special pads is downright offensive."
What part of that do you not understand?
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 9/4/04 - 7:08:12 PM EST (GMT-5)
Oh sorry, i didnt read the last part of that sentence. Stupid me. Do you understand the use of the pads, though? I'll make it pretty clear, though somewhat disgusting...-- some women on their periods have blood that smells downright nasty. They use the pads so that no one can smell that odor. IT is perfectly natrual, and there is no reason for them to see a doctor. Other women have feminine discharge that smells gross, too. They use the pads for the same reason, though I agree with you that they should see a doctor for it. I've heard it can be linked to some STDs
15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 9/4/04 - 7:10:41 PM EST (GMT-5)
I don't find it offensive. But then again, I find very few things offensive.

15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 9/4/04 - 7:11:50 PM EST (GMT-5)

Again, why don't you read my post properly before replying, I would really appreciate that.

These commercials claim ALL women SMELL BAD... and need to use their pads, that's offensive.

15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 9/4/04 - 7:16:43 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm going to copy the words right out of the post i am refering to

"These are supposed to be used EVERY DAY! I can't imagine why any female would smell so horrible down there, if she does, she should see a doctor not go buy these stupid pads."

I was just responding to that comment, and telling you why some women need the pads, and why others SHOULD go see doctors.

I've never seen a scented pantiliner commercial that claims all women need to use the pads, but that may just be because i live in a different country as you? I've never been to Canada, so i dont know what commercials they have there, or if they are anything like the ones here in the US.

15 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 9/4/04 - 7:28:19 PM EST (GMT-5)
Also, what do you mean by "These are supposed to be used every day"? is that something that was said in the commercial you saw? If it was, i do find THAT offensive!
