Depends on the crime. If it deserved execution then so be it. But life in prison wouldn't be too bad.

It would depend on the prison. I could meditate in prison, if i wasn't being raped by my fellow inmates. But i'm not sure i could really stand being trapped in their all my life. That lethal injection bed would start to look pretty good...

That's a very tough question, but being an optimist, I'd *probably* choose prison.. I don't know if I beleiev in an after-life or not.. But I wouldn't want to take my chances that way..

In prison you may have a chance to rebuild your life in some way so that might be better

Life is the most precious thing you have. And being in prison doesn't mean you are trapped and can't do anything for the rest of your life. There are even places that have computers, TVs, etc in the jail cells. You would have plenty of time to do things like read, maybe write a book, and even make a difference in the world. What can you do if you're dead?

Things like this confuse me sometimes. I can't understand why people don't even try to make such an important decision as this one. When people don't know what they believe in, that's when I start to worry about society.

i'd wanna go to prison, if it was really that bad, im sure i would find a way to kill myself, but i'd wanna give it a chance first...maybe even find a way out.

raisin brings up a good point.....if prison turns out to be hell, just trade it in for the real thing, or i'm sure another inmate would be more than happy to help

It would be heavenly if I could spend all that time in prison in a private cell. I would have all the time in the world to read, stare, think, and do nothing.

I'd rather be executed. I wouldn't want to live my life like a big loser in prison getting into fights and eating slimy food and having terrible indigestion all the time
