Of course not! If there was NO other way of keeping them both, I'd find them a great home.

Never! The pet's probably just feeling jealous of all the attention and time the baby gets. They usually just need some time and attention of their own to help them adjust.

No, the pet will need to learn to adapt to and accomodate the baby. It will learn soon enough if you make it.

if there were no way to settle the problem, id find a nice home for the pet. if the pet attacked the baby, id take it to the back yard and put a bullet in its head. good thing no one felt like that about you, eh forko? or are you so filled with angst you would have preferred to have been strangled as a baby?

No way! Because they don't get along? I'd give the pet away, that's just cruel to put them down for nothing.

May God have no mercy on those who ever do this. Shame on you. Putting a perfectly healthy, good dog to sleep is pure murder.

not at all...i would try giving it away to someone i knew would take care of it...if that didnt work i would try and train it to be better, depending on what kind of animal it was...and if that failed i would give it to the humane society...

I'd try to get them to get a long. If it didn't work, I'd try to find someone to take the pet in.

I would take the pet out in the country to a farm and let it loose. If it found it's way home, I would take it to a shelter and leave it there. Be a cold day in hell before I would compromise a child's safety in order to cater to a dumb animal.
