I think that's bad for the enamel. It may also be some kind of psychological disorder. I do two times a day, sometimes three if I'm going out someplace special. I can't even imagine doing it four times.

I don't do it anymore than I feel like I have to do it. I make sure I get it done when I wake up and before I go to bed. If I eat something that makes my breath stink or makes my teeth feel icky, I'll do it again. Otherwise 2 times a day is more than enough for me.
