16 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Monday 5/5/03 - 10:50:29 AM EST (GMT-5)
Since I don't spend more than 1/2 of my waking hours crying, I'd say it's normal to not cry.
16 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Tuesday 5/6/03 - 12:51:04 AM EST (GMT-5)
I've cried twice in the last 11 years.
16 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Tuesday 5/6/03 - 12:53:29 AM EST (GMT-5)
I don't cry that often, possibly because i don't have a reason to, so I suppose it's a matter of circumstance...
16 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Monday 5/26/03 - 8:21:52 PM EST (GMT-5)

16 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Monday 5/26/03 - 8:25:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
absolutly not... you shouldn't cry every five minutes but sometimes you have to cry and that is normal
16 yrs ago, 10 mos ago - Monday 5/26/03 - 8:29:06 PM EST (GMT-5)
It is normal to not cry around joyous or neutral circumstances. It may or may not be considered normal to not cry when a loved one passes away. It is NOT normal, however, to NOT cry AT ALL.

Crying is non-disturbing (unless you're a sobber) and a non-violent form of emotional enhancment and in my opinion should be used by more people. I would say that it is normal to cry (qualify with occassionally) and normal to not cry (qualified with sometimes). I've actually been disturbed when I don't see someone cry. It can be very weird.

An occasional cry is healthy
16 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Sunday 7/6/03 - 10:52:00 AM EST (GMT-5)
I think it is.
16 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Sunday 7/6/03 - 11:20:17 AM EST (GMT-5)
I don't cry if I don't know how to react to something
16 yrs ago, 8 mos ago - Sunday 7/6/03 - 4:07:36 PM EST (GMT-5)
Crying is an important way of releasing energy and emotion, and everyone needs to do it at some stage. If you don't, it's called supression, and it will probably come up in another way, some other time - most likely in some twisted form of anger.
16 yrs ago, 5 mos ago - Friday 10/17/03 - 12:57:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
I think crying is a form of emotional expression of pain, in all its forms. There. I agree with Reborn, coc.ked up emotions are often released like steam pressure, kabumm!
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 2/9/04 - 6:47:35 PM EST (GMT-5)
I don't cry often, mainly because I don't have anything to really cry about. But when an occasion presents itself in which you feel sad and want to cry (or don't want to, but feel like crying anyway) you shouldn't try to stop yourself. It's normal and necessary.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 2/10/04 - 12:22:06 PM EST (GMT-5)
Not for me it isn't. I ALWAYS cry.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 2/10/04 - 6:13:10 PM EST (GMT-5)

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 2/10/04 - 6:16:02 PM EST (GMT-5)
I honestly don't remember the last time I cried. And I've been through a lot lately. It just doesn't happen anymore.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 2/10/04 - 8:23:44 PM EST (GMT-5)
I don't cry. I hate it, it's a sign of weakness to me. I dont remember the last time I cried before this past Saturday, in which I just had an emotional breakdown and I spent about a half hour in the fetus position while my boyfriend held me...but I digress.
I don't cry at movies, and I don't cry for pain. I cry for emotional trauma.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 2/10/04 - 10:47:02 PM EST (GMT-5)

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Wednesday 2/11/04 - 5:26:20 AM EST (GMT-5)

16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Wednesday 2/11/04 - 6:40:06 AM EST (GMT-5)
There'd be something wrong if I went a week without crying.
