Who has been the stronger supporter of the recent wave of American Patriotism, Paul McCartney or Bruce Springsteen?

I think they're both driven primarily by money. Capitalizing on the recent wave of patriotism.

Yes, dimension, I realize that. But, as okey easily pointed out, both are driven by money. McCartney wrote the song "Freedom" and put together the "Concert for New York" as patriotic gestures to the United States. One doesn't have to be American to support American patriotism.

McCartney's recent wave of patriotism has been completely sickening. I thought he was above frivolous tunes about "Freedom", but I guess not. And he's not even American.

Well, I like Sprinsteen's music, and McCartney makes me sick, so I'll go with Bruce. Overly patriotic people irritate me.

Paul McCartney is not above sticking his nose into anybody's business. When he last toured here with Linda he was busy preaching from the stage about our Prime Minister owning a Piggery and shouting him down about it. Apparently being an ex-Beatle gives you inroads into everything and anything.

You know what I relized when I was listening to Anti Flag and system of a down today, why can't we just say america sucks more often.
