I am in some respects and not in others. I feel like a huge oddball but I'm sure it's mostly just my perspective.

I guess it depends on the context. I tend to go my own way for most things, but there are definitely situations where I just want to fit in with other people. Besides that, "my own way" is also, coincidentally, the way that many other people choose. I guess I make up my own mind on things, but that doesn't mean everything I think or do is totally my own.

Nope, I'm a non-conformist...sometimes by choice, other times I just happen to go against the grain.

I think so, except that third eye and sixth finger make me stick out like a sore thumb.

In most cases, I don't really make a conscience effort to conform, but I'm not exactly running around displaying what a uniquely rebellious person I am, either.

I fit right in with all the other guys sleeping under the bridge or at the shelter. I like to cultivate my image right so I don't stick out too much.

There was this other guy sleeping under the bridge called "Blob". He didn't fit in at all and that's where I took my cue.

Conformists are just afraid to be themselves and dont want to rock the boat because they think the boat might sink.
