No, a drill is a drill and they have chord's cos they're electrical. A screwdriver is a screwdriver and they're chordless cos you turn them with your hands. If there is such a thing as a screwdriver witha chord, I think they'd be pretty damn useless.

I like it on the Sears ad when Bob calls them "Hand Drivers".

They don't mean a regular, manual (for a lack of a better term...) screwdriver, they mean electric ones. There are electric ones that you have to plug into the wall, and battery powered ones that you don't. And electric screwdrivers have uses, they are pretty much like power drills, except that you don't have to change the drill bit out for a screwdriver head with the chuck key, as far as I know, it's more likely that they just click in and out, if you know what I mean.(at least that's how my dad's works) lol, I was the son my dad never had.

They're probably battery-operated.

Yeah, I've seen electric screwdrivers at SEARS. You'd have to be pretty lazy to use them though. It doesn't take much to operate a screwdriver

A tough screw can be Hell on your wrist, though.

"It depends on what you're screwing...."

This is the 21st century. Unless you're working on a computer or a car, there is almost no reason to even have a screwdriver.

Of course it's interesting that the computers and cars get more high tech, while the most basic tools are still required, whereas high tech tools are more common in something comparatively low-tech, such as construction.
