Peace is worth fighting for. Unfortunately it is the aim of all wars - so in striving for peace - war is a natural side-effect?

Wow good question...I don't think I can answer it. I hate fighting but I'm not exactly one to make peace either..

Peace and freedom, together, are worth fighting for.

Peace and freedom are never paid for, we can only lease it generation to generation. Its time to pay the lease or we're going to be evicted.

Ironic, huh? Per Mahatma Ghandi, "An armed soldier relies on his weapons for his strength. Take away from him his weapons--his gun or his sword, and he generally becomes helpless. But a person who has truly realized the principle of non-violence has the God-given strength for his weapon and the world has not known anything that can match it."

Fighting for Peace good question but isn't that like screwing for virginity???

Yeah, this is such an oxymoron. Fighting for peace is not making peace, it's destroying peace, therefore, no it isn't.

Yes, I think it is worth fighting for. As a example take a look at the USA, 227 years with the same laws in place. While during that same time frame most of the world has gone thru 2 or 3 styles of dictatorships, communist rule, or another form of political rule.

For the longest part of their history the USA avoided wars as much as possible. Only when technolog made attacks on the USA feasable did they feel the urge to subjegate the ability of others to be aggressive. America sometimes reminds me of those adolecents that go crazy at school with their daddies guns.
