I love Vegas, and I don't even gamble. There is stuff to do all the time, and it's neat during monsoon season when it pours rain all night.
And it is NOT "cheap entertainment" - one of my favorite quotes from a friend is "This city was not built from winners." People can lose thousands of dollars in a week, a month, or a single hand of poker.

Why would I want to go?!
There is nothing to see except a bunch of poor people becoming poorer by flushing their money down the toilet and a bunch of rich mafia bosses becoming richer at their expense. That and the fact that it is tacky, cheesy and nastily cheap. I would rather visit an old village in the North of Spain, or visit the Tuscan mountains, or walk the Great Wall, or visit the Taj Mahal, or climb to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge...

I'll have to actually visit there once to form an opinion. The fake aspect of it all does not appeal to me one bit though...although my bf always tells me I'm like a fish because I love sparkly, bright things...lol

Its ok. I lived their quite a ew years ago and it wasn't nothing special. I would rather live where i am at now. Don't live in vegas but i do in Washington state and I only have to travel about a hour and a half to Gamble on the Indian reservation
