Tall people live longer and have higher incomes and better jobs than short people. That's been scientifically proven. I'm 5' 7 1/2" tall. I'd like to be 5 or 6 inches taller but no way would I go through what some Japanese people are doing. I think that's crazy. Mind you, if I was EXTREMELY short, I'd seriously consider that kind of surgery. |

I'm six foot. If I was taller my lif would be much worse. My uncle is six four and has a bad back becasue of how tall he is. i wouldn't want to o though that. That prrocedure is also being used on "little people" I was watching a documenrtary on them(which proves that I have a very boring life) and they sould this as a possibility to adapting better to the big world. However many little people feel this is wrong because it is tring to change the way that they were created. Which I agree with but if I was that short I'm shalow enough to probbabbly have the surgery if I did not have to feel the pain. The surgery looks extremly pain full but I'm sure they give you a crap load of pain killers for it |

Shorter people use up less of the world's resources. As world population grows, you'd think that there would be a preference for shorter. |

no way! I am 6'1" right now, and it is hell trying to find clothes that fit me right. I have knee and hip problems. I wish I was *shorter*. THAT would make my life better.
As for the japanese people... better marriage prospects?? I didn't have a boyfriend until I was in college. I was "too tall". |

nope . . i'm tall enough. i already have trouble with the height of most all shower heads. Doesn't anyone over 6 feet install these things ?????? |
