Will London 2012 be the best Olympic games ever?

The 2012 Olympic Games will be held in London, the International Olympic Committee has announced.

London won a two-way fight with Paris by 54 votes to 50 at the IOC meeting in Singapore, after bids from Moscow, New York and Madrid were eliminated.

I think the London games were amazing, tbh. I was dreading it, my city being choked with tourists, and the sheer cost of hosting, but it was just the most amazing experience, and I'm sorry I was ever that cynical about them.
