i always swallow tablets with coke, which is sugary, so that it doesn't taste bad, which kind of justifies the song...

i've never taken any medication with sugar...but when i was ten, and i couldn't swallow pills to save my life, they would crush it up and put it in some applesauce. that hid the bitter taste and got me to take my medicine without it being regurgitated five seconds later.

A spoon full of sugar could make medicine more palatable, but it might not be a good idea for someone taking diabetes medicine.

I've never tried that, but when I was little my mum used to put my medicine in honey so I'd take it.

I remember I used to have tablets with a spoonful of cordial. Since I now hate cordial, I do without... but instead of it going down, I choke. So, I'm gonna say "yes"...
