gah...i really dont know what to do... - Mood:Good

SO. I was going to pick up a second job to work nights since I work mornings at the gym. I went to tell my boss that I was doing this so that he would be able to work around my schedule if her ever needed to work me on an evening. He got a little upset when I told him I was taking a second job. He offered me more hours and a dollar raise. Sounds good right? I dont know. Yeah the hours and raise are good, but i would still make more with the second job and I would get benefits. However, there is absolutely NO growth potential in teh second job, whereas the owner of the gym wants me to manage the new gym which is opening in a couple months. Plus the management experience will be good on my resume. The gym would also have better hours when school starts. I think the gym would be better off for me in the long run...but i could use the extra money from the other job now... ALSO, second job is working in a home for the mentally challenged...

SO, since I have no valentine and that would normally make me green with envy and hatred of all who do, I have decided to treat myself. My new found friend Katie, also valentine-less, has decided that since we seem to be the only ones without a SO on that aforementioned date we will be each others valentines . SO we are going to get massages and mani/pedis and then go snowboarding! How fun and un-lovey dovey!! So screw you and your chocolate and roses. the end.

Walking home in the rain. I thought it might be kind of nice...It had been raining cows and sheep all day but it slowed down right after I finished my post-work-workout so I thought I might just walk home in the cool misty rain. (i live not even a mile from my job/gym) I am walking and everything is fine until I realize that the trail I usually walk home on is flooding as I am walking. Turning back would do no good so I had to walk through nearly knee deep flood water. It was cold. It was wet. and I am the opposite of pleased. One could even go so far as to say I was DISpleased. BUT I am home now, dry, and destroying all the work I just did at the gym by drowning my sorrows in an italian hotdog smothered in fixins. I may also have a cup cake.
