| There is no gift idea more epic than a sword, if I say so myself.
my friend's birthday is tomorrow. We were going to go to 3 inches of Blood in Fargo as a celebration, but seeing as my van went kaput, that's out of the question now. So I figured I'd get him something almost as epic: a 32" full tang katana. Originally, it would have cost $50, but it had been sitting up there a while, so they marked it down to $40. Then my dad pointed out a crack in the handle, so they marked it down again to $30.
lol, at first I put 32' katana. Jesus, that's a big sword.
I'm reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman, and I'm almost finished with it. It just may be the most epic book I've ever read. The Neverending story is close, but I haven't read it in years.

| My birthday is in less than a week. Six days, exactly. I know some girls at work who want to take me out. The plan was originally the titty club, but that's in Fargo, I'm in Grand Forks, and I don't have the funds to go AND have a good time. So I'm staying in Grand Forks, eating at Paradiso (dinner's free on your birthday, not to mention 20 ways to do margaritas), and going to the bar. There will be dancing, drinking, merry-making, and possibly (hopefully) sex.
In other news, a glass broke in my hand today. I was putting it away, and I guess there was a hairline fracture in it because once it tapped another glass, it broke. Surprisingly, there's only one tiny cut on my hand.
