Shave Ball

A man enters a barber shop for a shave. While the barber is foaming him up, he mentions the problems he has getting a close shave around the cheeks.

"I have just the thing," says the barber taking a small wooden ball from a nearby drawer. "Just place this between your cheek and gum."

The client places the ball in his mouth and the barber proceeds with the closest shave the man has ever experienced.

After a few strokes the client asks in garbled speech. "And what if I swallow it?"

"No problem," says the barber. "Just bring it back tomorrow like everyone else does."

JoeInterview's Member Feature

This week's interview features teath123. This interview was conducted by chips2001 and travbowman.

JoeInterview: First things first. How did you find YT?

teath123: Well as I remember it, I first started off on IAB, after being told by a friend of mine 'There's this really cool site, it's so much fun to waste time there!' I checked it out and loved it. After doing the usual clicking on links and watching them, I started to comment on videos and seeing someone with a key icon I clicked it and the rest is history.

JI: And what keeps you coming back for more?

T123: left for a one year gap due to silly reasons but I wanted to see again what I loved so much about YT, I never left again . I love the members of YT, and reading Journals about peoples lives is a wonderful time waster. Another reason which keeps dragging me back is the wide age gap, I've found that I much prefer people in the 30+ gap then a lot of Teens on the site.

JI: So. What's the sceen name all about?

T123: Ah, well Teath was a name I used a lot after coming up with it in a whim, and trying to be 'Random', god I regret that, but the name Teath sticked and I'm sure I'll use it for times to come.

JI: What are the best and worst things about being 14?

T123: Well going to school and seeing people is always fun, and there are always new things to learn, and just being young really, no bills to pay...yet.

JI: Tell us about your home town.

T123: Well I live in the little city of Sheffield, known as 'The Steel City' it's known as this as it was a place that made steel like crazy in the war, It's a really nice place, of course they there are rough areas but, what can you do.

JI: Do you have any plans for the future, or are you just winging it at the moment?

T123: Well, I was hoping to study law at some point, if I get good enough grades so I'll try my best, and hopefully it will come to me!

JI: Ah. Is it just the big bucks, or a love of the legal system that attracts you to law?

T123: Bwhaha, both I find the legal system interesting and I would enjoy studying it, and what can I say? the idea of alot of cash isen't the worst way to grab your attention.

JI: What's the best thing you've read lately?

T123: Well If you don't classify manga then, Harry potter and the deathly hallows, I recommend it to ANY book fans, simply amazing, but read the other 6 first of course.

JI: What's been the best HP adaptation to a movie so far?

T123: Well, I'll say what everyone says, the 4th movie missed out, ALOT, but, It was made to entertain, and it did just that . So far my favorite is the 5th movie adaptation, Luna Lovegood is awesome.

JI: Which cast member has missed the essence of the book character the most so far in the series?

T123: Well, I'm not one to pay attention to stuff like that but, in the first, secondish films, they made Harry so useless, It was, hide behind and let her do the pewpew, it may be like that in the book but, I need to reread anyways.

JI: So what's your relationship with your parents like?

T123: Very good!, strict but fair, I spend a lot of my time on the computer (On YT *cough*) and they understand it, kind of.

JI: If they created accounts here, would it change the type of things you talk about?

T123: Oh no. I'm sure they would be loved! but I wouldn't change my ways, I see no point, It's not like I talk about porn openly in each post.

JI: What are some of your other favourite Internet hangouts besides YT?

T123: Other than YT I don't really post anywhere, but I like to Lurk in topics in video game boards etc, knowledge is power!

JI: What video game has been occupying your most time lately?

T123: *grins* I was waiting for a question like that, what fills my Avy and Profile with joy? Phoenix wright!, I loves it so, I may have spend about 60hours on the 4 games all together!

JI: For the uninitiated, what's the general gist of the game...the appeal, the plotline, etc.?

b>T123: AH! well, You play as defense lawyer, Mr. Phoenix Wright in trying to find your clients innocent. (game plays in the year 2026) And the death penalty has been brought in, instead of the jury system, a single Judge makes judgement on the cases at hand. The main pillar of the game, is the amazing storyline, and the one line jokes can leave me laughing for a while.

Another neat feature is using the DS'S Mic to shout things in, and the game reacts, 'Hold it!' 'Take that!' 'Objection!'. I can go on for a while about this thing, so I'll leave it there, Mr. Joe.

JI: What's the best video game system out right now?

T123: I'll get attacked by angry fanboys but, the WII has games I love, the normal Mario etc, Link, and other fun games, and the controller is genius!

JI: What's your best subject in school currently?

T123: Currently....history, I completely aced a test on WW1 and Britain, I got an A, Yays!. I also enjoy learning about famous figures etc, I enjoy history very much!

JI: Which historical figure do you find most interesting and wish you could learn more about?

T123: Well, I wouldn't mind learning more about Henry Ford, such a good man! the master of cars.

JI: What's the best car ever to hit the road?

T123: Well, I can't say I'm an expert, but I love the pwetty cars, but I prefer nice cheap cars, like the Ford Focus, cheap enough, so everyone can afford cars!, and not bad looking either!

JI: Do you have a parting shot to share with your fellow YTers?

T123: Achtung! Stopping to smell the flowers is what life is about, those little things in life, could make somebody's day.
