I couldn't get through the book. As much as I enjoy Queen Latifah, my dislike of the book (not to mention Dakota Fanning) will keep me from seeing this one.
^^I heard it got good reviews.....................
And I really enjoyed it. I haven't read the book yet but I'm going to now. Queen Latifah was excellent. In fact, they all were.

Well, the books are more oriented toward females.
There's always powerful female lead characters, and the males are usually cruel or weak.
I actually quite enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be a lot worse. I really liked the book, but I hadn't read it in a while so that helped me keep a more open mind.
Paul Bettany. He was great even though he was mean and kinda dirty.
I read the book a couple years ago for school, and I actually didn't think it was that bad. I'll probably wait to see this in the dollar theater though, because I'm sure it will be nothing like the book, like most movies.
