I really like Chris Evans, despite the car crash that was the Fantastic Four movies. He was the best thing about The Losers, it'll be interesting to see whether he can carry a film on his own.

[Also, Stanley Tucci! The man can do very little wrong, imho. TLJ and HW are always good value, too]

I thought he was good in FF.
Maybe not paticularly true to The Human Torch from the comics, but a good one nonetheless.

Might see this, might not.
I'm struggling to decide as to which superhero films to see this year.

I thought the trailer was pretty awesome.

I'll be seeing this and a new X-Men one, maybe not Thor

FF wasn;t produced by Marvel Studios, still, it wasn't as bad as everyone keeps sayign it is.

Captain America looks pretty amazing. I'm pretty sure it'll end with him falling in the ocean and freezing, and then after the credits they have some expedition find the block of ice.

No, i think i heard something about Nick Fury and a cryo chamber. There'll be some techno babble about it.

I'm seeing it tomorrow with two of my friends. It looks pretty good. My uncle has some old Captain America comics that I enjoy digging up and looking through sometimes.

I loved it! As much of Captain America I read and saw this was one of my favorite of 2011 so far :)

I loved this movie.

Oh and - - STAY UNTIL AFTER THE CREDITS! I mean, I know it should be common knowledge by now, but still. So good

If you have to say this, you aren't a nerd.

If you have to read/hear this, you aren't a nerd.

Honestly, I'd rather nobody said it, since I love that nobody is in the theater (well, practically nobody, usually) to watch the important part after the credits.

Trust me, people know. We just have other things we'd rather be doing than sitting through credits.

It's on YouTube anyway. Terrible quality but you see it and there's nothing outstanding there.

I wasn't very good. It could have been great.

Why does Captain America not wear his mask? That's a big part of being a superhero and of being Captain America.

Why is Bucky a grown man?

Why are there very few Nazis and virtually no swastikas in this WW2 movie?

Why is Hydra against Hitler instead of with him like in the comics?

I think the Bucky age decision was a focused attempt to remove all traces of pederasty (a la Robin).

And a barrage of swastika imagery may have been too heavy for a beefcake superhero movie,

Uhhhhh. Have you ever seen a Captain America comic?
3 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Thursday 8/4/11 - 5:54:34 AM EST (GMT-5)
Solid super hero film. I never got any stand-out or jaw-dropping moments, but looking back to the film as a whole, I can't think of any faults.

Gave off a great vibe of old action adventure movies. Just a really sweet motion picture.

Nice to finally see Chris Evans headlining a blockbuster, too.

Has he not got his mask on these days?
3 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Saturday 8/6/11 - 8:47:22 AM EST (GMT-5)
I think he does wear a mask, but it's pretty common knowledge who he is. Like Iron Man.

And no mask could hide that jaw-line. It's like draping a dinner-cloth over a triceratops.

So that when the inevitable homoerotic fanfiction appears, and it will, it's slightly less creepy.
3 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Wednesday 8/10/11 - 10:06:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
i loved this movie! it was a lot better than i expected.
3 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Thursday 8/11/11 - 1:10:58 PM EST (GMT-5)
I'm pretty sure Bucky is a man in the modern comics because he assumed the mantle of Captain America for a while after Steve Rogers was "killed". Admittedly, if he was a kid, it would have been a lot funnier.
3 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Thursday 8/11/11 - 5:44:22 PM EST (GMT-5)
I thought the movie was decent, but the music kind of pissed me off.
3 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Sunday 8/14/11 - 2:32:00 AM EST (GMT-5)
i enjoyed it. Was better than thor though not as good as iron man
