They've made some changes to the fight scene with Voldy...there's going to be a bit more action than there was in the book. |

I always wondered how easy the moives were to follow if you hadn't read the books.

In a word, not.
Though it depends on the film. The first two are pretty much direct references to the book with bits and pieces hacked out willy nilly.
From the third film onwards, the writers got more creative and made the story more suitable for movie viewing, but depending on the film it still suffers from a degree of hacking and slashing.
The best of all is the fifth film, which was written by a different writer. Fantastically adapted to the screen, and the best of the series to date.
The sixth film is possible the worst. An obscene amount of vital storyline was removed to concentrate on needless comedy and romantic sub-plots.
HP7 part 1 was very good though. I have high hopes for the conclusion. |

"The sixth film was the worst". I think I agree with you on that one. I couldn't believe the amount they cut out of the book and the stupid changes they made.

I reckon that this would be epic. I saw the trailer and i literally had goosebumps when it was rolling. I really loved the Harry Potter movie series. Yes, it is not the same as with the book but same goes for almost all books made into movies. Of course they do not have to do it to the letter but give the story its new life in theatre.

It was so good! Some parts seemed a bit rushed and they left out a lot about Dumbledore's past, but I still really enjoyed it! Bit sad it's over though.
