I've seen this once, so why in the hell would I want to see it again? The Sweedish version was good. So I cannot imagine how adding English will make it better.

I wish Fincher had directed the one with the Swedish actors.
The original was good, because they removed a lot of boring stock from the first book. But the second and third were not interesting.

Bumpity-bump. Finished the book a few days ago, then went straight into fanboy mode for this one.
This teaser is INTENSE.
Not sure I like how Lisbeth looks. Seems a bit too extreme punk, not how I imagined her in the book.
Unsure whether I should watch the Swedish adaptation before I see this one. But Fincher means I've got some damn high hopes.

I've been hearing about this movie the past two years. I thought they would've released it already.
Anyway, I'm not that interested in seeing this regardless...just that I expected it to be out by now since I've been hearing about it only forever.

I enjoyed this without having read the book. I didn't really have high expectations going in, but I still really did genuinely enjoy it. Very intense at times, too much for some people, but really worth watching.

i really liked the Girl, cool character, great performance
they should take her and put her in a cool story not a generic mystery/thriller where the only thing she has to overcome is rapists

i liked it a lot. very intense and uncomfortable in the best ways. Fincher is great with atmosphere. it was overly long with multiple endings (a la Return of the King) and a bit soulless (a la Road to Perdition) but overall very good. depressing, too.
also stop wearing your glasses like that, Daniel Craig. you dummy
also also, the opening credits were cool

The opening credit sequence went on a bit long and felt real out of place.
The rape scenes were uncomfortable, as intended I assume, but went on a bit long. You can achieve the same effect without showing so much.
The Girl is a fascinating character, and the movie was good otherwise. Sure it isn't anything revolutionary for the mystery genre, but it didn't have to be, definitely a character movie. Found myself really engrossed in the whole thing.

Yeah, I didn't like the opening credits at all. It was pretentious and out of place.
Someone behind me went, "Are we in the right film?"

i thought it was well done. a different take on lisbeth. i left the movie(having forgotten how the swedish one went)...feeling dangerous, and kind of sad as i pumped gas for the drive home afterwards.
