Had funny parts. No where near the original. Basically they used the template from the first, changed the scenery....tweaked a few things, and bam, "different" movie. Every funny thing from the first was done again, but altered slightly. Overall disappointment, but the kind of movie you'll watch mindlessly whenever it's on for those few moments of laughter.
The first was a real treat for me. I went in dreading it, expecting a movie where all the best bits were in the trailers. I was pleasantly surprised, it was charming and consistently funny.
This... yeah, once again dreading it. So please surprise me again!
Had low expectations for the first one and when I watched it, I was just bored. I can't remember laughing at that one at all.
I have no interest in seeing this. I don't like Zack Gafilianakis or Bradley Cooper. Ed Helms is just kind of there. I don't find him unbearable, but I'd have to like an actor a lot to put up with those other two.
Opening with the gang calling the wives, about to cancel the wedding, Stu having an affair with a whore (which was hilarious if you know how that turns out), At the climax, they meet a business man who threatens to kill the missing member if he doesn't get what he wants, Stu singing a funny song, them retracing everything together to get what they need for the boss, the boss actually lying to them, and just when they give up, they figure everything out. So much of the same stuff from the first one.
And at the end, my friend wondered if next they find Alan a girl...
