Blimey, I submitted this one month ago and was bombarded with error reports galore. Glad to see that it's finally made it through the YT movie gauntlet!

Apparently, this has been in development since before the Kill Bill duology. And by the looks of the trailer, Tarantino is on top form once again.

can't wait

Tarantino makes movies worth paying ten dollars to see.

anyone who doesn't take their chance to go see this movie in theaters with an audience is a buffoon.
all of Tarantino's movies have been my favorite cinema experinces. they're soooo fun to see with a rowdy crowd and this film even surpasses his other films in that department.

seriously: GO SEE INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS THIS WEEKEND

When you think about it, the only moving and realistic human characters with major screen time were women- - Shoshanna and the German actress. The Basterds were mostly caricature, though pretty fun. I figured the movie was going to be military torture cinema for adult viewing but was nicely surprised! The Jew Hunter was superb.

It kinda has that festive feel to it,

what a christing drating let down.

this movie wasn't even about the basterds. it was barely about the basterds at all!

it was about an uppity jewish bitch and her sick plan, and how the basterds kind of sort of helped her, but not really.

honestly, you could have taken all the basterds out of the movie, had Jew Hunter interrogate hammerschlut instead of ando the apache, and you'd still have the exact same plot line.

i came to see american morons torturing nazi's. i was rewarded with about ten minutes of that.

i know quentin is known for his epicly long talking sequences in movies, but in films like reservoir dogs and pulp fiction, the talk is usually interesting. not in this movie. i couldn't muster up enough care about zoller and his exploits to smear on a ritz. i actually fell asleep at one point in this movie, to be awakened by laughter at something

aldo said.

the scenes with the basterds were hilarious and entertaining. about half the scenes with the jew hunter were interesting (opening scene: film gold. strudel scene: pure shyte). the rest of the movie was a colossal bore.

wait, i did like

i saw it it was a 8/10

it wasn't as good as other war movies like saving private ryan but this isn't a war movie really

The opening scene was probably my favourite part of the whole movie. That said, I thought the movie was really good overall just some parts were a bit drawn out. I couldn't keep full attention during the scene where Shosanna meets Goebbels, my mind kept drifting off.

Loved the English accents and the part where the Basterds are speaking Italian.

I haven't seen the movie yet but you saying it isn't as good as SPR is certainly a motivation to watch it. SPR sucked so f*ckin bad!!!!

I'm not sure how I feel about this movie after having seen it. When I first left the theater, I was like 'man that sucked'. It was really long and drawn out, Brad Pitt's 'basterds' weren't even in the movie that much and they were the best part, and it was just really weird. The ending was awesome though, that last chapter was GREAT!!

However after reflecting on it for a couple days, I now want to see it again and see if I feel differently. Typical Tarantino, the movie stays with you for days and you think about it all. After thinking about it, I think I like it more. Maybe I was just tired and bored the night I saw it. So for now I'm giving it a 5/10, because I only enjoyed about half of it (the Brad Pitt parts even though I'm not a fan of his, and the ending of course). But I reserve the right to change that after seeing it again, I may like it more then. Interesting, for sure.

I just noticed it says Cloris Leachman was in this ... who did she play? I don't remember her in it...

I enjoyed the hell out of this movie! the way he captured the tenseness of the time in occupied france was great. the opening scene was intense and a perfect way to start it off. Col. Landa was a scary mofo!

and i actually enjoyed that brad didn't get a lot of screen time. (as much as i love him)

i could go on and on.

I'm hoping another one of my friends wants to go see it so I can see it again.

I liked how the dialogue was mostly in French and German, rather than pandering to an English audience.
If that makes sense.
