I remember when I met this guy before Super Size Me came out...He did a speaking thing at my high school for some reason.
He was a nice guy, I can't believe he actually attempted this.
I can't imagine he was met with much cooperation.
I'm looking forward to it
Overall I enjoyed this. Parts of it were quite well done; funny and entertaining. I enjoyed watching him interact and make friends with people all over the world, finding out that we have more in common that previously thought. He was met with less disregard than I thought, only ever really coming into hostility in a couple places, mainly Israel.
I finally got a chance to see this over the weekend and it was excellent ... obviously he didn't find Osama but I think he could have if not for the inherent risk of enterting that final area. But the movie wasn't really about that - it was more about how our relations with the middle east have changed since 9/11. He went to so many countries - Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Afghanistan, part of Pakistan - and it was interesting to see how people's opinions of America were from each area. It's easy to see how they hate us, it's all they are fed and taught is to hate America. Their media keeps them in the dark as much as ours does, so it's nice when people like Morgan can go to those areas and teach at least a few that American people aren't bad, and not all of us want these wars.
Excellent documentary, everything he does is just brilliant. 8.5/10
