Anyway it comes out today/tomorrow. I am calling for a flop, I think it looks awful. Like a little kid's LOTR... but not nice like Narnia.

I liked this movie despite how it stayed with the book only 90% of the time.

I havent seen it, and a lot of people around me have read the book and are excited about it, but it just didnt seem like a movie that I would like.

What a turd of a film. A blatant rip off of LOTR. I thought THAT was bad! Its like kids version of it, oh and VERY boring.

It was ok I thought.

The film was alright, but I was pretty drunk. I wouldn't recommend it, there's much better out there.

Haha you kept bursting out laughing during it, we were both pretty gone...I told you we should never have had those shots before we went.

My little sister wants to see this. I really, really don't.

There was nothing new in 'Eragon', and at times it seemed a little rushed and uninspired in its delivery, but apart from that I didn't mind it.

I have just seen it last week. Great show..I think the special effects are great! The dragon Saphira is really cool with Rachel Weisz's voice!

Hear it was terrible from a few friends who are fans of the book.

I don't know, the trailer seemed nice. Reminded me of Narnia. Just one of those cute movies you watch just to pass the time. I may see it.

I will not see this movie because it looks brutally awful and, from the trailers, the CGI is total shyte.

Are the books considered ripoffs of LOTR?

By some, yes.

I thought the CGI was pretty decent, and so was the propwork. Jeremy Irons was pretty good as well.

Beyond that. The cinematography was poorly done, the plot was so underdeveloped, it left holes which were insultingly obvious, much of the acting was poor as well.

The director should be shot.

What pains me the most, is that this movie had some great potential if done properly. Don't waste your money seeing this POS.

I thought this movie had good actors, and good special effects, but poor writing and in some instances poor directing. I won't say I was disappointed, but I wasn't impressed.

Jonathon Ross said it is crap, and i will stick with him on that one. although i havent seen it.
