1st post! some of these dont really count. their house burnt down? so what?

by that i mean they don't really compare to those who had to live on the streets for months or years at a time.

Who gives a crap?! They're not homeless now, are they? What? Should I still feel sorry for them? I don't!!

Wow. I never knew that Drew Carey had been homeless. I'm happy I've never had to be without a place to live. I'm smart enough to appreciate what I have and to feel sympathy for those who've had to do without shelter.

i agree with Brant167 to an extent, but a few of them were self-imposed homelessness, i dont think that would count towards the american dream.. that and not all of them were american

i know some of them i thought this site was going to be about really famous people like oprah lol im kidding i think some of these people deserve fame and others well they've abused it

Jim Carrey, Drew Carey, William Shatner, Martin Sheen, Kelly Clarkson and Shania Twain surprised me the most. Another thing that surprised me was the low number of rappers who've been homeless... then again, the list would just be filled with rappers...
